Nursing home Warwickshire?

Updated: May 5, 2021

Are you looking for a nursing home in Warwickshire? Choosing the right place for you or your loved one to live upon reaching an advanced age can be intimidating, so there are some important things to know about nursing homes.

Nursing homes, like residential care homes, provide residents with a fulfilling and engaging lifestyle while also making sure they receive all of the personal care needed to ensure continued well-being. Nursing homes have an extra level of care to other residential care homes, as a registered nurse must be on the premises 24 hours every day to assist residents with any needs that may arise.

Many nursing homes also provide respite care as an option. Respite care refers to a short-term placement in a nursing home or residential care home; these stays can be as short as a week. Respite stays can serve many purposes, including providing the main carer or carers a break; they can be arranged by residents themselves, social services, or families. Respite care has been a less popular option in previous months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bromson Hill Nursing Home in Warwickshire acts as both a nursing home and a residential care home, with respite care as an option for residents as well. Our experienced staff are able to ensure that residents can settle in quickly and immediately begin receiving all of the care they need. If you’re searching for a nursing home nearby, Bromson Hill is a great option if you live in Southam, Leamington Spa, Moreton Morrell, Warwick, Stratford, or the surrounding areas.

Please contact us if you have any questions. We would be delighted to speak with you about our services.

We aim to keep our charges in line with other similar homes. Depending upon your ability to pay, your local authority may pay some of the costs towards your care. Your local authority will assess your income including your pension and benefits as well as any savings you may have and possibly your home if nobody else lives with you. The value of your home will not be counted towards this until 12 weeks after your admission to permanent nursing or residential care.
You may also be entitled to other benefits, which include Attendance Allowance and Pension Credit. For more information, please contact the Benefit Enquiry Line on 0800 88 22 00 or speak to your GP, nurse or indeed feel free to call us for more information.
